Ann Wycoff, Ph.D.

Dr. Ann Wycoff founded the Center for Enlightened Productivity in 1995. She possesses a unique blend of psychology and business knowledge based on 15 years of practice as a licensed psychologist in clinical and business settings, and, prior to that, seven years as an investment banker and stockbroker with Boettcher & Co., and Merrill Lynch.

Dr. Wycoff has consulted to business organizations for the past 15 years in the areas of a personality screening and employee selection, program development, career counseling, leadership development, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and executive effectiveness. She is also an experienced public speaker, having delivered numerous professional presentations to university and corporate audiences.

As a clinician in private practice, Dr. Wycoff has worked extensively with adults with a broad range of personal and professional challenges, including depression, career burnout, and Attention Deficit Disorder, and has adapted many techniques from this experience to her work with business people seeking to focus in the midst of competing commitments and responsibilities. She has conducted individual, group and family psychotherapy in private practice and school settings.

Dr. Wycoff and her business partner, Dr. Stephen Parker, developed and scientifically validated a proprietary personality screen measuring work-related characteristics that predict work performance. The screen has been used for over 10 years in an employment agency owned by Dr. Wycoff. This screen is now being used by businesses to assess candidates for employment.

Dr. Wycoff holds Doctorate and Master’s degrees in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Western State College, Gunnison, Colorado.

Stephen Parker, Ph.D.

Dr. Stephen Parker has over 20 years of hands-on experience as an operating executive, consultant and researcher in numerous organizational settings ranging from Fortune 500 organizations to startup companies to government agencies.

He has served as the top operations executive, human resources executive or Chief Information Officer for several previous organizations, including Traveler's Insurance/St. Paul Companies, SupplyPro, Inc. and Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc.

As an experienced operating executive, he has strong technical, financial, team building and infrastructure development skills. As a member of several executive teams, he has provided leadership development and facilitated the creation and execution of strategic plans.

As a partner of the Center for Focus and Productivity, Dr. Parker has created programs and tools to develop leadership ability and improve individual effectiveness by combining comprehensive assessments and technology tools with personalized coaching. He has developed and validated numerous psychometric-based systems, including performance management systems, 360-degree feedback systems, new hire selection systems, personality assessments, achievement/ability tests, etc. He has strong software architecture and coding skills and has developed numerous software packages and websites using current methodologies, especially ASP.NET/SQL.

Dr. Parker holds Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology/Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego, and a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Psychology from the University of California, San Diego
